Mid Term Meeting and Scientific Workshop 2018

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Los días 10 y 11 de septiembre se celebró en el Instituto de Nanociencia de Aragón- Universidad de Zaragoza el “Mid Term Meeting” del proyecto Europeo MSCA-RISE Nº 734187 “SPIN, CONVERSION, LOGIC and STORAGE in oxide based electronics” donde contamos con la presencia del directivo de Proyectos Europeos Robert SZCZEPANSKI perteneciente a la “Research Executive Agency” Unidad A3 – Research and Innovation Staff Exchange-European Commission.

En esta oportunidad se evaluó la marcha interna del proyecto y se realizó además el sexto “workshop” científico donde se expusieron todos los avances del mismo. Participaron los socios europeos y los socios de los terceros países, contando con la presencia de unos 20 investigadores de diferentes países.

El proyecto Europeo SPICOLOST aborda los problemas actuales del  diseño de materiales que se implementarán en dispositivos para la reducción de la energía consumida, tanto en dispositivos de conversión eléctrica como de almacenamiento de datos intentando reducir el costo de producción. La conexión y colaboración de laboratorios internacionales para fomentar el intercambio de conocimientos es una de las herramientas primordiales para avanzar en procesos de fabricación y obtener mejoras de las propiedades apoyándonos en las sinergias de los modelos y cálculos teóricos.
